An invitation to be CREATIVE

A long weekend, brought travel and family time.
I was excited when my sister (sister no. 2) invited me to her
Pottery Studio, currently in my mum's garage,
to make some "buttons"

Once I got started, I didn't want to stop.
It was like quilting - calming and theraputic

These are my efforts
I loved this fork that Jayne used in a most professional manner, to make holes in things.

I also loved these garden signs that she had been making for her stall at the local Farmers Market.

The elephant took my fancy too!
I think if I lived closer, I would go to her classes - it was fun to have a turn.
Thanks for the invitation

Love your work. Quite a change of medium, but so creative. I can see why you would want to visit her more often! Will you paint them or leave them natural?

That looks like so much FUN, and you appear to be a natural button-maker.

Mum sanded them back tonight, I sanded mine and we wondered if we should paint them with under glaze...and then we wondered what colour? They will be fiddly to put in the kiln but will be fun to sew on something.
