Mid Term Busy

This is the design I finally decided on . . .

Just wasn't happy with the pink, so mixed it up a bit.

My friend saw these owls on Pintrest and wanted me to help her make some, so we had a playdate on Saturday and created these Owls.

Love your quilt, the squares in the border are so effective. Cute owls.

You've been such a busy girl, Annie. What a great quilt - and what a clever idea to use the squares; so different. and I LOVE those owls.

You have a real eye for choosing and mixing colors and prints. Lovely quilt. Your little red and white owl is my favorite.

It looks great Annie! I would have had a hard time deciding on an arrangement for the blocks. I love that subtle border too. And your little owls are adorable!

I too love the squares on the border. Thinking outside the norm box there. Go for it. Well done. Love the idea of an adult creative play date. I guess that is what the pottery club is for me.

Annie, you've done another masterful job here. There is just so much movement in the quilt - very effective! Our younger daughter went on an owl making binge a year or so ago. I have a couple of them here in the sewing room. Cuteness!
