Talk Like a Pirate

Progress is happening on the Backpack, but I'm up to a hard bit, so I'm on a bit of a go slow.

So I swapped projects
and made another little bag, and just swapped the handles

It's my "No eye dear" bag!

Miss Flowergarden tells me that the 19th September is "Talk like a Pirate Day"
This scar just fits in nicely.  Perhaps an eye patch will dress it up a bit.

A black eye later and the removal of some skin cancer, has left me with the perfect trimmings for Talk Like A Pirate Day, which is to raise money for Cancer
Very Fitting

Aargh, and shiver me timbers, matey! All you need is the eye patch and the wooden leg, surely one of your canaries could substitute for a parrot? Hope you're feeling okay; look after yourself, Miss Annie! xx

Ouch, hope it is all gone and sorted.

I have a green cord skirt with white deers on it I call my 'no eye deer" sj=kirt (white deer silhouette's, geddit?). Love that yellow print though. Hope your pirate day is a success- but I hope it's healed before then!

We can be twins, Annie. I had two lesions on my face zapped with liquid nitrogen a few weeks ago. School starts soon, and they are still visible. Sigh...

Ar ar me hearty......and they would be fine bags to stash your loot in!

........just checked the date......I'm too early! Love the deer bag, great shape and handles. Hope you're feeling better soon.

VERY cute bag. You will have to wear your eye patch on the other side. Hopefully it will not leave a scar or it will be the end of your modelling career. LOL.

Great bag. Love the fabrics. The Moonshine patterns are good. Your scar looks impressive.

That is a very impressive scar. At first I thought Miss Flowergarden had found a stick on something for pirate day but then I remembered. Much bigger than I thought it would be. Great humour with the no eye dear bag. Interesting shape and what better for a difficult pattern, make something else!

I hope you are okay Annie. I had 5 skin cancer lesions removed this time last year. It's so worth it and my scars aren't too noticable now

Ouch! I hope that incision will heal quickly. Do you think it would help if you put a parrot on your shoulder??? ;-D

Hope that you have healed up nicely. And that the rest of the week wasn't anywhere close to being like a pirate typical day!
