It's my Pink Crinums - they've been here there and everywhere, but finally, a flower. I'm very happy with it.
I've been busy this week getting my quilts ready for our Quilt Festival for the Long Weekend. Sleeves and labelling - all by hand, take time. I still have a big one to go. Just chipping away, in between very busy times at work.
I've hunted out a pile of my bags from the cupboard. I'm wondering if they might make an interesting display in one of the booths at the quilt show. I could even put them up for sale. What do you think? Would you like to see a BAG JOURNEY at a Quilt Show?

Oh love the crinum!!! I have some too but the plants are a bit scruffy
Your crinum is a lovely shade of pink.
Enjoy the quilt show. I think your bags would be a great addition and it seems to me like these would 'sell'.
Love and hugs to you ~ Rainey
Exciting - a flower at last after 10 years waiting! Worth the wait, it's lovely!
Hope you enjoy the Quilt Show - I would take all those lovely bags and put 'em up for sale - what's to lose? They will look good on display and be enjoyed and admired, and hopefully a few sales!!!

You certainly have been busy. Not long to go now!
Looking forward to the quilt show, Annie, and yes, it would be great to have your bags on display. I was going to ring you yesterday but figured you'd have your machine running hot! Your flower is gorgeous - worth the wait. See you at the show!
Thrilled that your Crinum flowered, you're rewarded at last!
You sound extremely busy and I can understand why of course.
Most definitely take all your beautiful bags... nothing to lose and everything to gain :D)
Have fun xx
I would LOVE to see a bag journey of your bags. The crinum lilies are a staple of old southern gardens. There are several in our neighborhood, and they are HUGE plants. You will show pictures of the quilt show won't you? Pretty please??
Your bags would definitely add interest to the show. Yours are the best.
Don't you just love doing sleeves and labels? NOT! I have some to do myself.
Happy to see your lily in flower. I/ve had a large clump of them out for ages, but they are all finished now.Its a pity their leaves are going off when the flower buds appear.Good luck with the quilt show Hope you get everything finished in time. Iknow you will.
A bag journey is a definately. LOVE the crinum hoping it is not another 10 years before it flowers.
Flowers and plants are just amazing. I love the crinum. What a great idea with the bags. I am sure lots of people have a bag journey to tell and would love to see yours. Parting with a bag is difficult but if you can sell off a few you make more room for new bags.
