I love the simple pleasure of these seaside daisies.
Monkey's have always been a favourite of mine, and I love all the ones I see around Blogland. They get up to so much mischief. I have 2 in my classroom, that live in an old brown case, and go home with the children. They have clothes and blankets and all sorts of things they have collected from families. The children write in a diary of their adventures and enjoy taking them home. Their names are Monzie and Fergus. Fergus is Monzie's cousin. Last week one of the boys brought this lovely book called Chimp and Zee to school. This was one of the very cute illustrations.

I love the idea of your class monkeys - Fred came home with Elmo the dog the other week and Dorothy once brought Rupert, a teddy bear, on holiday to Scotland with us - it is so nice for the children.
That picture by your pupil is great - how old are they in Grade 1?

We have Rosie the bear in our class-she has been going strong for nine years! Kids art work is the best-Love your garden photos as usual.
When my kids went to school they had a 3 foot tall golliwog called music room Sam he came on holidays once with us and we photographed him along the way and made a book. The kids loved him. I'm slightly embarrassed by that year 1 drawing I aspire to be that good, perhaps it's a bit late for me. Love the garden pics.
