Just a spot of sewing . . . hmmm washing's on now!

It was very much an inside weekend and I literally hibernated in my sewing room. If you want to see just how cold it was in Ballarat, look here.
A friend from school wanted me to make these cushions for her. She had all the fabric, so it was quite fun cutting up someone else's fabric, and going for it. I enjoyed making them.
Then is was back to the "School Bags with Class" - I had a couple of orders to fill, so made this lovely large one for a wise old teacher friend, and another Molly Bird one in Aqua and Brown. I'm sorry to say, I forgot to take a photo of that one. I'll have to take my camera to school this week and get another look at it in action.
Looking forward to Kristen's new fabrics.

you are such a kind person, Annie!
I spent the day in my sewing room, trying to quilt on my new machine, but it all pulled badly, so spent most of my day unpicking what I had done!

Those are such pretty cushions- so Summery.

Cute owls too. I read a book years ago called The Owl Service which was quite a good story. In Welsh they are called "goodie-hoo" phonetically like the sound of the hoot.

I love your cushions! They look like big, plumped up quilt squares. Happy :)

Your chickens look happy, too. Mine are pitiful. They've decided they should all get together and pull each other's feathers out. Not pretty.

Your cool weathers looks pretty good, too. Here in Houston it is HOT!
