It's been a busy month on the Craft front! I am totally exhausted, but have been loving it all the same. Sewjourn, last weekend was FANTASTIC.
I got to play with the Cover Stitch Machine, and now of course I want one!
We sewed non stop all weekend - the odd break of course, for the Farmers Market, and we were in charge of one meal each for the weekend, but other than that,
it was serious sewing time. Between 8 of us, we had 15 machines in total, which we thought was a pretty good record.
These 2 Around the Block gals, got me revved up for my month in June, and now I have piles of fabric all over the sewing room floor, getting ready for my big mail out.
Thanks Lara and Rachael.
These are 2 of the projects I was working on at Sewjourn.
. . . and a new winter skirt for work
This is Rachael's beautiful pin cushion. Thanks for a great weekend girls, and I'm hoping for a quiet few weeks - wouldn't you know it, Report Writing time has hit, so obviously I'm looking for every excuse not to start writing.
I'm planning between 2 and 4 tomorrow!

Should think after the rush and saga of May that a couple of weeks writing reports would be a pleasant break in itself!
Was so lovely to ctahc up with you and think that when you make your big jaunt over here you should time it for now - right in the middle of Chelsea week.
It's lucky you girls didn't cause a blackout with that many machines! Talk about dedicated...wow. I'm totally jealous that you had the chance to play with a coverstitch machine.
Oh, that looks like you had SO much fun! And I love your new skirt. Perfect for school.
What a divine weekend.
Wish I'd been there!!
sounds like a wonderful weekend away.........always lots of fun when you can get away and sew with friends.........
What a fun, productive weekend, Annie. Lots of luck with the reports - tomorrow I will be hiding out in the school library away from stressy teachers!
Reports??? what a bummer - they always get in the way...
Love nothing better than a weekend away sewing with the Gals...Love your New Skirt...
cheers
Great wrap-up of a fab weekend, Annie. So lovely to spend it with you....
Good luck on the procrastination/report-writing. I'm supposed to be book-writing here and am playing in blogland. Oops.
Looks like you had a great time -- we need a Sewjourn over here. And I had to chuckle -- while you were at Sewjourn -- I was with Ms. Sewjourn herself!
