It's coming . . .

Spring is definitely coming. My Herronswood Pink Echium, is in full flower, and it's magnificent. Almost covering my tank this year.

Thought it was about time I had a bit of "scraps" clean out, so inspired by the Around the Block girls, I tried my hand at spiderweb blocks for the first time. I was surprised just how easy they were.
I will make this up into a table runner for my Market Stall next month.

Their last "Hurrah" before heading into the compost bin . . . I'd had them in a vase, and even as they dried out, they still looked beautiful.

Your spring blooms are pretty. I love the water drops on them. Hard to think of spring coming when here it is still very hot and humid.

Your dried blooms are lovely, what are they.

Your quilted piece is really nice. You do lovely work.

Oh Annie -- your flower pictures are so beautiful. I especially love the ones with the water droplets. And what a fun way to do the spiderweb!

Annie, I love your spiderwebs. I have one on my design "wall". One of these days......

Spring is my favorite season, so I can fully appreciate your hurry for it to arrive, and it looks like it's well on its way for you. We are panting for fall!

Wow Annie, your pink echium is divine! So beautiful. I've never seen a pink one. It is one of my life ambitions to visit Heronswood. When I first started gardening, I belonged to Digger's Club, and I feel like Heronswood is part of my personal gardening heritage! An AFL grandfinal in Melbourne is on the list too, preferably with the Swans playing!
