Winter Blues

I've just about had enough of Winter and am missing my garden.
It's been cold, bleak and rainy for far too long now.
(just a bit of birthday sewing snuck in here)
I want to go out and play outside again.
Lots of bulbs is the promise of Spring.
Beautiful violets, but just too cold to enjoy being outside just yet.
. . . I'll have to keep sewing I guess . . .

Oh, Annie, I'm right there with you, but here in the northern hemisphere the problem is heat. It's just too hot to go outside for long. I miss my garden, too, even though it's in riotous bloom (at least the heat-loving among them). There's a lot out there that needs to be done, too. A little at a time.

Hi Annie, what is that gorgeous last blue and white flower -a violet? It is stunning. I feel exactly the same. I'm getting so impatient for Spring's blooms. Although I am enjoying the daffys and jonquils.:-)

It sure has been cold and wet - something that we are just not used to anymore

I'm with you on this! I don't mind how many crisp cold sunny days we have but I have had enough of the damp soggy wet cold and grey days!!!
