A New Quilt

Playing with scraps again . . .
. . . and that's the way I like it!
DELICIOUS
AND
"they're" building a new suburb at the end of my street
what are the sheep to do?
that's progress for you
I have enjoyed the sunsets over the farms for the last 6 years

Oh I love your scrap quilt - very fresh and modern. Is the plain fabric a linen, or just that colour? Doesn't sound like progress - what a shame to lose that freedom at the end of the street.

What a sweet quilt! Simple and lovely.

I'm so sorry that you'll be losing that lovely view and some peace and quiet. Progress isn't always the best.

Have a great weekend and a lovely Easter.

I love your new scrap quilt -- it's wonderful! Sorry about the new housing -- we have that happening all over around us -- that's why we have so many wild animals in our neighborhood -- they have nowhere to go. ;-(

Oh Annie, I remember when there were sheep in your 'suburb'.

Phutt to new suburbs with houses so close together you could not breath without being heard. They have heaps out the back of us now and I fear they will be future slums. Too far out and no facilities.
Love the quilt. I have an addiction to scraps. Am organizing machine embroidery files and yet to touch the sewing machine but shoulder is healing super well and cannot wait till 24th when I can sling the sling and drive again. This is so different from the hips and knees of the past where I could lie in bed bed and be a slob for 6 weeks, as I am dressed by 9 each morning and I have to "do things"!!
Enjoy holidays...

Your quilt looks great. Can't wait to see it all done and quilted. And so sorry about the sheep. They're much nicer, I'm sure, than some people.

Great quilt to use up those strips!
What a shame to lose such a beautiful view... maybe you might get a new neighbour who quilts!

That's a fantastic looking quilt. Is it of your own design? I've never seen one like that before!
