I cut a newspaper paper pattern of this skirt from a friend last year, and it has just surfaced in a Sewing Room Tidy.
Sarah and her little waist were pleased with the results.
Said friend got the first version, as it was just too tiny - I'm going to try one for myself, but check measurements first!!
These were the little baby birds yesterday. Just over a week old.
They are starting to look more and more like birds every day.
This was a few days before. It's amazing how quickly they change and grow.
They have been great source of holiday entertainment for quite a bit of our neighbourhood.

What a busy and clever lady you have been! The skirt is adorable.
Those little babies might be getting cute LOL. Looks like you've had some fun sewing -- very cute skirt and quilt top!
Nice skirt! Amazing how much you get done when you don't have to fit work in as well! Cute babies..
Great skirt! Now I look forward to seeing the one for YOU!
Love the fabric for the skirt! Lucky Sarah :)
