Bags Fever

After a trip to the Craft Fair last Saturday, I am trying some new patterns.  This is going to be a Back Pack for my soon to turn 16 year old daughter
AKA Miss Flowergarden

oooh, sorry, this one's a bit fuzzy . . . pattern pieces for:

Happy with the outcome, but not 100%.
I didn't quite have enough interfacing and was too impatient!!

Still going with the Plus's, but boy, it's slow going and addles my mind following the pattern.  I'm much more speedy with the blue block above that are freestyle!

. . . and a little bit of crotchet for good measure.

These cold wintery days, are good for my sewing progress!

Busy girl! Did you go to quilting today?

Did you use the tiny ball of yarn that we wound on the train yet? Still can't believe it will make a scarf.

Your daughter's backpack is really cool looking.

You are one busy lady, inspiring me to do some more creating myself.

LOVE the crosses great colours. I can see how you need to be in a quite place to put it together. Great bag and the handles look very interesting.

You are inspiring me to want to make a purse. Maybe after I finish my snails...

Oh, wow, Annie - you have been busy! Love that purse, it looks great, but then again so does everything else. Can't wait to see Miss Flowergarden's new backpack.

Very nice purse.

I have been thinking about one of the plus quilts but know I would need some stress free time to do it. Even simple stuff is a struggle sometimes.

Very pretty Annie! That jubilee bag pattern looks great -- very versatile and handy. And I love the fabric you're using on the backpack with the union jack in it!
