Back to my sewing machine

These pieces have been hanging around for months and months. I was inspired by Amanda Jean way back who liked the idea from here, and when and after reports were out of the way, I just wanted to sew.
I wanted to feel that sense of achievement, and finish something, so I worked on this one.
I'm going to have a go at quilting it tonight.

Very envious of those poppies and the amount of Nigella that is growing so well. I have a few bushes but am not yet back to your lush abundance.
The quilt is looking good.. I am aiming to use a honey bun with white. But am still stuck with Christmas...
