. . . a walk around my garden in the evening

these snapdragons look like flames of fire
a very sweet old fashioned aquilegia I brought from my last garden
about 20 baby fronds on the tree fern
I've been hanging out here a lot lately
beautiful happy iris's at the back door

and thanks has to go here to Leanne, who I'm sure is the one who sent me some seeds last year. No success last year with them and I thought I'd lost these special poppies, but NO! Up they came this year and what a surprise I got this morning to see this beauty.
lots and lots of Californian Poppies - I love them

and Love in the Mist always captivates me

Inside to make a beautiful cheesy omelette for tea with the lovely fresh eggs from our chooks

Life is good

Thankyou for the garden tour...I always enjoy your pics! I nearly purchased the very same aquilega at the nursery the other day (wished I had got it now)
Its such a good feeling when you see a plant grow from seed or cutting, especially when you think it hasn't survived!

Your garden is looking so beautiful! I must admit to a soft spot for Californian poppies. Love the way they come up everywhere!

Lovely photos and lovely garden.
I have some love in the mist back this year also. Now if only I can find campanula's again...they used to grow like weeds. Lovely little blue or white bells and I was always giving plants away..sobs

Loving your poppy work Missus. And d/Boy grew L-I-M from seed this year too. Obviously the mark of a distinguished gardener.

Those snapdragons in the first photo are my favourite colour combination, and that poppy is really beautiful! We have a bud trying to bloom here on our poppy, but I think it has left it too late! And thank you very much for showing my/yours now notebook on your last post!

Thanks for the great pictures of your amazing flowers. They look truly fabulous. I especially like the snapdragons as I have some planted in a garden bed next to my orchids and the variety that I have the same requirements as the care for orchid plants that I have.

Thanks again for the lovely pictures, Joanne.

The flowers in your garden are so beautiful, especially those irises! It must have been hard work taking care of those flowers and making them grow as beautiful as that. Thanks for sharing a gallery of your flowers in your garden! I wish I can have a garden with flowers as beautiful as yours. I wonder if I can get some of those flowers in Indianapolis. I want a garden as beautiful as yours...

Keep up the good work! I hope your garden grows to be an even more beautiful one!
