. . . and the question is

My sister came to visit last week from the farm, and brought fresh produce.
After playing with it for awhile . . . we made soup!  The pumkin was called a Trumbachino, and she even brought me a plant to put in my garden.

I've been really wanting to try a pattern from my new Modern Quilts Book.

This is the one I've been working on.  Lots of cutting but exciting results.

This is as far as I got before having to go out with family for cat food, and garden projects.  I pruned some of my roses today and the highest temperature was 5 degrees.  It was icy out there.
My block will wait for me until Wednesday.

I have always admired quilters and the beautiful, intricate work they painstakingly produce. I would love to try sometime but am a little apprehensive of all the cutting and fitting involved.

All that to say that your patchwork is looking fabulous!

As we swelter in the humidity, it's hard to remember that some of you are experiencing ice! Enjoy it for us LOL.

LOVE LOVE those pluses and your fabric combo. This is going to be a fun quilt!
