Wintery Cold

It's a really cold Wintery day today - and despite the fact that I gardened at school this morning at a working bee . . .

. . . and at home this afternoon, amidst the drips of rain, in my gortex coat . . .

. . it continued to be miserable!

I thought I would look back over some Spring photos and share a bit of colour on this grey day.

Surely these good times will come again!

It does help to look at the sunny good things rather than concentrate on the cold weather. Your garden will appreciate all your hard work come spring.

Your photos are cheery and colorful, just right for viewing on a gray day. Which is what is happening here in s.e. FL. Rain and more rain, through Tuesday.

Hope you see sunshine tomorrow.

Whew! As I was reading along, you had me thinking that you have all these beautiful blooms when it's cold! I was ready to move LOL!

Yes, Annie, sometimes it's just good to encourage yourself! Gardeners are perennially optimistic. We have to be!

I have been longing for spring but do not want to wish my life away. It will come in good time. I have one rannuculi wanting to flower? I think it is too early but who am I to object. Freesias usually flower on Wentworth show weekend, around August 20 so it is coming, it is!
