This is just like our budgie Lexar
I found this lovely card in my favourite coffee shop
I was getting a special birthday present for a long distance friend. They wrapped it so nicely, I was most impressed.
. . . and the bed, well another friend asked me to make a quilt for her doll house bed. I haven't started yet, but I will . . .
This is a new Daphne I found at Lambley's last week. I am keen to try it, as I've not had much success with the other sort. I think this will be hardier.
My echium, Cobolt Towers is just beginning to bloom. A big branch broke off in a wind storm in the Winter time, but I'm glad there are still lots of blooms. The snap dragons underneath are a burst of colour.
Outside my sewing room window, there is a banksia rose planted by my neighbour and spilling over the fence covering the horrible colourbond fence. It is going to be a magnificent sight in a week or so.
So full of promise

Luv your birdie, you should drop by my blog. The second last post featured budgies...bit of a giggle. Your garden is of cause beautiful.
The delicious anticipation that is Spring about to burst.
Love the budgie card, and those flowers are going to be a riot of colour when the echium gets into full bloom :)
Love Banksia roses and that new Daphne! I'll have to remember to tell my cousin about it :)
That birdie card is sweet.
So is that little bed you are going to make a quilt for. How cute is that going to be, I do hope you will post a picture when it is finished.
Your gardens and blooms are looking great and how wonderful to have that banksia rose spilling over the fence into your space.
Enjoy ~ FlowerLady
Everything looks so pretty, Annie. And that little bed is just adorable. Can't wait to see your quilt on it. We've had lots of budgies over the years, but for now, we're just enjoying the birds (and the chickens) outside!
I'm looking forward to seeing photos of your pink echium again, Annie. Glad the windstorm didn't destroy it.
Aren't Banksia Roses so pretty? I would love one in pink (is there one, do you know?). Just like I want someone to develop a pretty pink Agapanthus, which I think would look stunning mixed with the blue and white.
Love the budgie! Makes me want to get out my water colours! It's rainig today and that makes a perfect opportunity for creativity but it is also market preparation day so I think I will have to get wet before I get creative.
I did wonder about that bed ???
Love the budgie card.
Love the card Annie, and your garden. Geesh, was craft last night or is it next week - I keep losing track of which week is which.....
the little echium you sent north
has blue spires too,
taller than the clothesline,
so think of you XF
That card is lovely! And I love that teeny bed and the teeny quilt you made for it in your later post! Lucy x
Enjoyed your post Annie. The budgie card is sweet isn't it.
Be interested to know how that new daphne went. I don't seem to have a lot of luck with mine.
Cheers!
