A Weekend Treat in Ballarat

This Saturday there is a special treat in Ballarat.
Well worth a drive if you are within "coo-ee"

Twelve local artists have put together an Artist's Trail - where you can visit thier studios and see them at work.

A lot of the artists work from thier home studios, and others work collectively in other workshops like converted garages and unique spaces for creating.  This is a brilliant opportunity to see the artists "at work" and really get a feel for how thier art work is put together.

I will be somehow "hopping along" to Maria Cook's studio where she makes amazing things with fabric.  Yes, I will have my foot up high, and enjoy some of the excitement of the day.

This was my creative effort from yesterday! A May Rose from Attic 24.

Oh, I'd love to go and visit this Artist's Trail in Ballarat!
I love your rose, it's very pretty. Is that crochet or knitting?
Thanks also for visiting my blog The Crafty Expat! I tried to follow your blog with Bloglovin but they say they can't find a feed.

Good for you! Enjoy your day. The outing will be a nice way to take your mind off of your poor little foot.

Hi Annie, I'm visiting via Julie at Little Woollie, have had a little mooch around your blog and it's just lovely.
Sorry to read you are a little incapacitated at the moment, I hope the operation is successful and you are up and about soon.
Love seeing the birds and their babies, it must be so fascinating to watch the whole process.
Enjoy the artist trail, wish I lived closer it would be fun to join in. Have a great weekend and greetings from N.E. Vic........
